Why refurbished works for business
The machines worth buying used are the ones that were built for corporate life in the first place — Latitude, EliteBook, ThinkPad, OptiPlex. They were specified for three-year refresh cycles in offices, not for a shelf at a big-box store, and they hold up. For a back-office workstation, a shop-floor terminal, a spare pool, or a team that mostly lives in a browser, paying new-machine money often buys you nothing you'll notice.
Where it doesn't make sense, we'll say so. Heavy CAD, video work and anything you plan to keep five years is usually better new.
